Board Member Opportunities

Sustainable Eastern Ontario is currently seeking one more board member to assist in formalizing the internal structure of the organization. The intent of this board is to be an efficient model of best-practice for other boards within the non-profit sector. It meets quarterly by teleconference using interactive media and web-based applications for exchange. The Board is a governance board to set direction and policy. The focus of the organization is on the initiatives and work being done by member organizations within the network and not on creating new initiatives, overlap, or duplication. Ultimately, the goal is to build capacity within the environmental sector within Eastern Ontario.
